Beyçelik - Success Story
Beyçelik Gestamp is one of the largest companies in the automotive sub-industry, producing in its facilities over 200,000 square meters in its 5 different locations. The MES project, which started in 2010, was put into use in all factories, most recently the Romania factory.
Within the current MES project, there are hundreds of machines and more than two thousand data collection points working depending on the common database. Until now, applications such as e-kanban, automatic production notifications, product traceability, digital documentation, maintenance-failure integration, energy tracking have been implemented, as well as data collection and production performance monitoring.
This structure, which has a very dynamic system, is constantly being developed according to new needs. Currently, the implementation of advanced applications such as automatic kanban continues.
Beyçelik Gestamp MES project is an exemplary project that shows how a manufacturing company can achieve digital transformation in the vision of Industry 4.0.
